AI Erase & Fill

The Erase & Fill feature is part of the Eraser Tool. It uses Generative AI to automatically remove unwanted objects from your image and seamlessly fill in the erased area with background context. This makes it easy to clean up images without leaving empty spaces.

How It Works

  1. Select any image in the canvas to open the contextual taskbar.
  2. Click the Eraser icon in the toolbar, or press the shortcut E to activate the eraser tool.
  3. In the right-hand panel, toggle on Erase & Fill.
  4. Use the eraser settings to adjust the brush size depending on the area you want to erase.
  5. Click and drag over the part of the image you want to remove.
  6. When released, the selected area will be erased, and the AI will automatically generate a background fill.
  7. Click Done or press Esc to exit eraser mode once you’re finished.

Tip: For best results, use a brush size slightly larger than the object you want to erase. This gives the AI more surrounding context to create a natural-looking background.

This feature is only available on paid subscriptions.
