• Can I use Kittl for free?

  Yes, Kittl is free for everyone. You can access all templates and content at zero cost. You can choose to upgrade to a PRO or EXPERT plan, to download your designs in higher resolution and access premium features.

• What do I need to use Kittl?

  Just a browser. No software, no design experience, no camera. If you have a product — you have everything you need.

• Can I use Kittl on an iPad or phone?

  Yes — Kittl runs right in your web browser, so there's nothing to download or install. It works great on an iPad or tablet, and the platform is optimized for desktop and tablet screens. You can also open Kittl on your phone, but since it's built for larger screens, the experience is best on desktop or tablet for now — a mobile-friendly editor is on the way. For the smoothest experience, use the latest version of Chrome, Firefox, or Safari.

• Can I use Kittl for commercial projects?

  Yes — commercial use is included on any paid plan (Pro, Expert, or Max). You can use your designs for your own products, client and commissioned work, and across unlimited clients and projects. That includes selling merchandise and print-on-demand — t-shirts, mugs, posters, and more — with up to 500,000 copies per design on Pro and Expert, and no limit on Max.

  On paid plans you also fully own the AI-generated images you create, so you can sell or trademark designs made from your own uploads and AI images. The one limit: you can't resell Kittl's own content (templates, fonts, illustrations, photos) as standalone stock or register it as a trademark. The Free plan is for personal, non-commercial use only. And your rights don't expire — designs you made on a paid plan stay yours to sell even if you later cancel.

• Does it export in Etsy's video format?

  Yes. Kittl exports video as MP4, one of the formats Etsy accepts for listing videos. When you generate, set the length between 3 and 15 seconds and pick a 16:9 or 9:16 frame. Etsy takes anything from 2:1 to 1:2, so both work. Etsy plays listing videos without sound, so choose "no audio" and keep those tokens for another take. Each listing can hold two videos, so make one that shows the product in use and one that zooms in on the details.

• What happens to my tokens if I don't use them?

  Your monthly plan tokens don't roll over — they reset on your renewal date each month (the same day you originally subscribed), so it's use-it-or-lose-it within the month. Daily tokens on Expert and Max reset every day at 12 AM UTC and also don't carry over.

  Extra tokens you purchase are different: they never expire and stay in your balance until you use them. And if a generation ever fails, those tokens are automatically refunded.

• Do I need design experience?

  Nope. Kittl is built for creators and small business owners, not designers. Pick a template, drop in your product, make it go viral. That's it.
