27th Feb – 2026 Product Update

This week in Kittl was all about creating more with AI — faster. We’ve added two new AI image models, published a prompt guide for video, and introduced video cropping directly inside Kittl. That means more directions to explore, quicker iteration, and less tool-switching while you work.

New in Kittl

1. Updated the logged-in Home page

Meet the new Kittl Home — your central hub for everything you create.
We’ve redesigned the Kittl homepage to make it easier to jump back into your projects, start with AI generation, and explore inspiring templates — all in one place.

Whether you’re building your brand, creating mockups, or launching marketing assets, the new Home helps you take the next step faster.

2. New AI Video models: Nano Banana 2 and Seedream-5-Lite

Nano Banana 2

Description: Google’s latest AI image generation and editing model, optimized for performance and quality. Nano Banana 2 delivers pro-level capabilities with faster generation, stronger accuracy, and more creative outputs than its predecessor.

Key improvements over the original Nano Banana

• High-quality outputs: supports resolutions up to 4K, with improved detail, texture, and lighting.
• Stronger instruction following: better handling of complex prompts, with more accurate rendering of objects, characters, and text.
• Expanded creative control: maintain up to five characters within a single workflow.

Best for

• High-speed iteration at lower cost. Go from brief to final asset in seconds, NB2 runs at Flash speed with up to 50% lower cost than Pro, making it viable to generate and test dozens of creative directions before committing to one.
• Product and brand visuals at scale. Generate multiple variations of the same product or key visual — backgrounds, seasons, layouts, languages, claims — while maintaining consistent style, lighting, typography and legible text across all formats for marketing and e-commerce.
• Multi-subject storytelling. Maintain character and object fidelity across up to 5 people. ideal for narrative series, storyboards, and social content sets that need to feel like they belong together.

Seedream-5-Lite

Description: Seedream 5.0 Lite is ByteDance’s latest AI image model built for strong instruction-following and more controllable results. It’s designed to better interpret intent (not just keywords) and generate images that match your layout, style, and details more reliably.

Best for

• Campaign asset production: keep subjects, lighting, and style consistent across a rollout—with less “identity drift.”
• Character-based storytelling: maintain the same character look across multiple scenes.
• Product series visuals: generate variations (backgrounds, lighting, composition) while keeping the product consistent and believable.
• Repeatable social sets: create recognizable visual formats at scale for ongoing social content.

3. Cropping for videos

You can now crop generated videos directly inside the editor quickly and seamlessly.

Why it matters: Reframe videos instantly without exporting.

5. Video is now part of Kittl Flows

You can now create videos in Kittl Flows alongside mockups and images. What’s new:

• Smartboards are now called AI Image Boards
• New: AI Video Boards

Why it matters: Create image and video variations in one streamlined flow.

6. Highlight recommended AI model

We’ve updated the AI model picker to group models into Recommended and Other, so the strongest options are always easy to spot—while older models stay available when you need them.
