Kittl Design Challenges | T&C

The Challenge is open to individuals who are 18 years of age or older at the time of entry. The Challenge is void where prohibited by law.

Employees of Kittl (HTC Heritage Type GmbH), its affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotion agencies, and immediate family members as well as those of any partner brands connected to the challenge are not eligible to participate.

Participants are responsible for ensuring that participation is legal in their country of residence.

Participants must have a valid Instagram account and internet access to participate.

By participating in this Challenge, you agree to be fully bound by these Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) and represent that you meet all eligibility requirements.

By entering, you also agree to comply with:

• Kittl platform terms and policies; and
• Printful Terms of Service and policies, solely in relationship to any Printful subscription prize.

Kittl reserves the right to disqualify any participant who violates these rules or engages in fraudulent or abusive behavior.

Entries must be submitted by the deadline stated in the official Instagram post or challenge description page. For this Campaign:

• Start date: March 25, 2026
• Submission deadline: April 8, 2026
• Winner announcement: April 10, 2026

Participants are responsible for reviewing the official Campaign post for any additional timing details or updates. Entries submitted after the stated deadline may be disqualified at Kittl’s sole discretion..

Kittl reserves the right to amend the Challenge timeline, including extending or shortening the submission period, where reasonably necessary.

To participate in the Challenge, Participants must complete the following steps during the Challenge Period:

1. Comment “CHALLENGE” on the official Campaign post to receive access to the project link and a free 1-month Kittl Pro code. The code is valid for one-time use only, provides access to additional Kittl Pro features, and must be redeemed by April 10, 2026.
2. Using Kittl, create an original, funny meme T-shirt design suitable for sale. Participants must generate a realistic product mockup using Kittl Flows. Participants may additionally (optional) create a product video using Kittl Video to enhance their submission.
3. Publish the submission on Instagram no later than April 8, 2026. The post must:
• Tag @kittldesign and @printful;
• Include the hashtags #kittlvideo #printful #printfulandkittIchallenge;
• Include mockups and a screenshot of Participant’s Kittl project in the final slide;
• Include the video, if created (optional).

Submissions must be original, created by the Participant, and must not infringe any third-party rights. Entries must comply with applicable laws and Instagram guidelines and must not contain unlawful, offensive, or inappropriate content. Entries containing unlawful, offensive, violent, discriminatory, or sexually explicit content will be disqualified.

By submitting an entry, participants represent and warrant that they either own all rights to the content included in the submission or have obtained all necessary rights, licenses, and permissions to use such content. Participants further confirm that their submission does not violate, misappropriate, or infringe upon any third-party rights, including but not limited to copyright, trademark, privacy, or publicity rights. Kittl and Printful rely on these representations and assume no responsibility for verifying ownership or permissions.

Kittl reserves the right to modify, clarify, or update the entry requirements at any time, including during the Challenge Period, where reasonably necessary.

Failure to comply with any of the above requirements may result in disqualification at Kittl’s discretion.

Only one entry per participant unless otherwise stated.

Winners will be selected by a jury consisting of representatives from Kittl and, where applicable, the brand partner.

A total of 3 (three) winners will be selected, with each winner receiving one Prize.

Entries will be judged based on:

• Interpretation of the brief
• Concept and originality
• Visual appeal
• Technical execution

All decisions by the jury are final and binding.

6.1 Prize Description

Three different Prizes are available, with one Prize allocated for one winner. Prizes will be assigned by Kittl’s sole discretion.

Prize description:

• 1st place: 1-year Printful Growth subscription, 1-year Kittl Max subscription, 50,000 AI tokens;
• 2nd place: 1-year Kittl Expert subscription, 50,000 AI tokens;
• 3rd place: 1-year Kittl Pro subscription, 10,000 AI tokens

Prizes are non-transferable and may not be substituted or exchanged, except at Kittl’s sole discretion. Kittl reserves the right to substitute a prize of equal or greater value if a stated prize becomes unavailable. Kittl is not responsible if a winner is unable to use or redeem a prize.

The Printful subscription prize is provided by Printful and is subject to Printful Terms of Service. The prize is not transferable. No substitution or cash redemption of the prize, or any portion thereof, is allowed, except at the sole discretion of Printful. Printful is not responsible for any inability of any winner to accept or use the prize (or portion thereof) for any reason. Winner is solely responsible for all unspecified costs and expenses associated with Prize acceptance and use. Prizes are awarded "as is" with no warranty, representation or guarantee of any kind by Printful.

6.2 Winner Notification and Acceptance

Winners will be notified via Instagram direct message, email, or other contact method used for entry.

Winners must respond and accept the prize within 7 days of notification (or such other timeframe stated in the Challenge announcement).

Failure to respond within the specified timeframe may result in forfeiture of the prize, and Kittl may select an alternate winner.

6.3 Verification and Compliance

Prize claims are subject to verification of eligibility and compliance with these Terms. If the prize includes a monetary payment, winners may be required to:

• Complete identity verification
• Provide tax documentation (e.g., W-8BEN, W-9, or equivalent)
• Submit accurate payment information
• Complete onboarding through Kittl’s designated payment provider

Kittl reserves the right to withhold or refuse payment if required documentation is not provided, incomplete, or inaccurate.

6.4 Payment Processing (Tipalti or Equivalent Provider)

Cash prizes will be paid exclusively through Kittl’s designated third-party payment provider (currently Tipalti or a comparable provider).

Winners must complete the provider’s onboarding and compliance procedures before payment is released. Payment processing times may vary depending on jurisdiction and verification requirements.

Kittl is not responsible for:

• Delays caused by incomplete verification
• Incorrect payment information submitted by the winner
• Bank processing delays
• Currency exchange rate fluctuations.
• Transaction or bank fees imposed by third parties

Payments may not be available in certain jurisdictions due to legal or compliance restrictions.

6.5 Gift Cards and Non-Cash Prizes

If a prize consists of a gift card or voucher:

• It may be subject to additional terms and conditions of the issuing provider.
• It may not be redeemable for cash unless required by law.
• Expiration dates and usage limitations may apply.
• Currency and regional restrictions may apply.

Kittl is not responsible for lost, stolen, expired, or unused gift cards once delivered.

6.6 Taxes

Winners are solely responsible for any federal, state, local, or international taxes, duties, or other governmental charges associated with receiving a prize.

Kittl may be required to collect tax information or report payments to applicable tax authorities. Where required by law, Kittl may withhold applicable taxes from the prize amount.

6.7 Disqualification and Forfeiture

Kittl reserves the right to disqualify any participant or revoke any prize if:

• The participant violates these Terms;
• Fraudulent, deceptive, or abusive behavior is detected;
• The submission infringes third-party rights;
• Required documentation is not provided within the specified timeframe;
• The winner is located in a jurisdiction where the Challenge or prize distribution is prohibited.

6.8 Sanctions and Export Compliance

Prizes will not be awarded to individuals:

• Located in countries subject to international sanctions or embargoes
• Listed on applicable sanctions or restricted party lists
• Otherwise prohibited by applicable export control or trade compliance laws

Kittl reserves the right to conduct compliance screening prior to awarding any prize.

6.9 Publicity

By accepting a prize, winners agree that Kittl may use their name, username, likeness, and submission content for promotional and marketing purposes worldwide without additional compensation, unless prohibited by law.

By entering, you grant Kittl and its brand partners the right to:

• Share, repost, and promote your submission.
• Use your name and/or username in connection with the Challenge
• Kittl will contact participants for further permissions to feature submissions in marketing, promotional, and educational materials

You retain ownership of your design, but grant Kittl a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use the submitted content for promotional purposes.

You represent and warrant that your submission:

• Is your original work
• Does not infringe on third-party rights;
• Does not contain unauthorized copyrighted material.

Kittl reserves the right to disqualify any participant who:

• Uses fraudulent methods;
• Attempts to manipulate results;
• Violates Instagram policies;
• Violates these Terms.

By participating, you release Kittl and its partners (including Printful as prize sponsor) from any liability arising from participation in the Challenge or acceptance of any prize.

Kittl is not responsible for technical issues, internet failures, lost submissions, or platform interruptions.

Printful bears no responsibility for the operation of the Challenge.

This Challenge is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Instagram.

Information submitted in connection with this Challenge will be processed by Kittl for Challenge administration, communication, winner selection and prize delivery, and the information submitted is subject to Kittl’s Privacy Policy.

Any personal data processed by Printful in connection with prize activation or use will be handled in accordance with the Printful Privacy Policy (available at https://www.printful.com/policies/privacy)
