This one’s special for us. Your team’s fonts live in Monotype Connect, the font management platform from Monotype<\/a>, the company behind classics like Helvetica®, Avenir®, and Gotham®. Connect is where businesses organize and govern their licensed type. And with the new app, that library now works directly in Kittl. This guide gets your fonts into the editor and shows what to do with them once they’re in.<\/p>\n

What you need<\/h2>\n

  • A Monotype Connect subscription, with the Connect desktop app installed and logged in. The Kittl app reads your library through it, so it needs to be running.<\/li>\n
  • A Kittl account.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n

    1) Add the app to Kittl<\/h2>\n

    Open a design in Kittl, click Apps in the left sidebar, and add Monotype Connect. The app opens as a panel next to your canvas.<\/p>\n

    2) Connect your library<\/h2>\n

    With the Connect desktop app running, your libraries load automatically. If the panel says “Connect isn’t running”, start the desktop app and you’re in. That’s the whole setup.<\/p>\n
