When an RGB file is sent to print, it\u2019s automatically converted \u2014 and that\u2019s where differences can appear. <a href=\"https:\/\/www.kittl.com\/blogs\/rgb-vs-cmyk-vs-pantone-dsi\/\">Read more<\/a>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>You might notice:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>less vibrant colors<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>slight shifts in tone<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>differences from what you saw on screen<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>This is normal.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>CMYK export helps reduce these differences by preparing your file for print from the start.<\/strong> However, final results can still vary depending on your printer, paper, and materials.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">What\u2019s new and how to use it<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>You can now export your designs in <strong>CMYK color format<\/strong>:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li><strong>PDF<\/strong> \u2014 best for print-ready, high-quality outputs<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li><strong>JPEG<\/strong> \u2014 best for image-based workflows and print-on-demand<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<p>We use <strong>US Web Coated (SWOP) v2<\/strong>, a widely used print standard compatible with most printers.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>There\u2019s no change to how you design \u2014 you still work in RGB.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Conversion to CMYK happens automatically at export.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>How to export in CMYK:<\/strong><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<ol class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Open your design<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Click <strong>Export<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Choose <strong>PDF or JPEG<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Select <strong>CMYK<\/strong><\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Export your file<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n\n\n\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-full\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1440\" height=\"1080\" src=\"https:\/\/kittlb-26937.roald-dfw.servebolt.cloud\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/CMYK-Export-Video.avif\" alt=\"\" class=\"wp-image-20179\" \/><\/figure>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Choosing the right format<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Different formats are suited for different print workflows:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>PDF<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best for professional printing, layouts, and designs with text or multiple elements. Keeps everything sharp and consistent.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>JPEG<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Best for print-on-demand platforms and simple, image-based uploads like merch designs.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>What about PNG?<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>PNG is commonly used for designs that require <strong>transparency<\/strong> (e.g. stickers, apparel, product overlays).<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>CMYK export for PNG isn\u2019t supported yet. For now:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Use <strong>RGB PNG<\/strong> for transparency<\/li>\n\n\n\n<li>Use <strong>CMYK PDF or JPEG<\/strong> for better color
