Latest Kittl Editor Updates

We’re excited to share some recent improvements to the Kittl editor, driven by your feedback and our ongoing commitment to making Kittl smoother and more intuitive. Here’s what’s new:

Infinite Canvas Improvements

Creating multi-page designs just got easier! You can now download multiple artboards within a single PDF. This is perfect for creating brochures, planners, books, menus, presentations, and more.

Snap Objects While Resizing

Achieving precise layouts is now simpler with our enhanced snapping guides. Snapping guides now appear even when resizing objects, helping you create perfectly aligned designs.

Improved Zoom

We’ve fine-tuned the zoom functionality for a smoother and more precise experience. Here’s what’s new:

• Adjusted zoom speed for both touchpad and mouse wheel.
• New zoom menu and fitting options: quickly fit your view to the entire content (Shift + 1), artboard (Shift + 2), or a selection (Shift + 3).
• Smoother zoom steps when using the +/- keys or buttons.

Radial Gradients

Add more depth and interest to your graphics and text with our new radial gradient feature. Create stunning effects with ease.

Improved Selection Behavior

We’ve made it easier to manage your selections:

• Deselect objects in a selected cluster by marquee dragging over the objects to be deselected.
• Masks are now selectable only within the mask area, preventing accidental selection of the underlying masked object.

New App Menu

Our new app menu consolidates handy project-level actions such as create new, open, rename, duplicate, etc., along with settings and preferences like grids, units, and dark mode. Customize your Kittl experience with ease.

Upload images into masks

To make using mask elements faster, we’ve added a new Upload button in the Settings panel for mask objects. This helps you upload new images directly into the mask without needing to upload them on the canvas and drag and drop.
